8 Powered Active 800W 2-Way DJ PA Speakers

The Rockville RPG8 8" Active/Powered 400 Watts DJ PA Speaker System is a high-power, 2-way pro sound reinforcement speaker designed for live sound and playback applications. Featuring a high-power long-throw 8" woofer with a 2" aluminum voice coil, this speaker system delivers incredibly deep bass and acoustic power.

With a frequency response of 50Hz-20KHz and a maximum SPL of 119dB peak / 116dB continuous, the RPG8 is capable of producing distortion-free sound even at extreme sound pressure levels. The system utilizes linear Class AB amplifier technology, which provides high power and transparent sonic performance, along with an internal switch-mode power supply for low distortion audio and superior transient response.

To ensure ultimate system control and speaker protection, the RPG8 includes a built-in bass and treble equalization processor. The speaker also features a state-of-the-art 1.35" Japanese-made pure titanium-diaphragm compression driver, which provides crystal clear high-frequency reproduction. The ultra-wide dispersion, 40-degree large-format horizontal wave guide horn is molded directly into the cabinet, further enhancing the speaker's audio performance.

The RPG8 offers versatile connectivity options, including ultra-low noise Mic / Line inputs via XLR and 1/4-inch stereo jacks with volume control, as well as line RCA and XLR inputs with separate gain adjustment. Additionally, there is a balanced line output via 1/4-inch for linking additional speaker systems.

The trapezoidal enclosure design of the RPG8 allows for different positioning options, and the speaker can be flown or mounted on a stand using the 35-mm pole socket. Constructed with high-quality components and an exceptionally rugged high-impact ABS housing, the RPG8 is built to withstand the demands of professional use.

Completing the feature set, the RPG8 includes an amplifier clip limit LED indicator, a power LED on the cabinet rear, and a front display power meter with blue LED. The dimensions of the speaker are 11.57" x 8.98" x 16.23".
